Day 1: Salar de Uyuni & Train Cemetery
We begin at 10:30 AM from Hotel Kachi in Uyuni. The day covers the salt flat’s main attractions: the Train Cemetery, Colchani’s artisan market, the Dakar Monument, and the Flag Plaza next to Hotel Playa Blanca. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the salt flats and, season permitting, visit Incahuasi Island. The day concludes with a photo session and a sunset toast on the salar before returning to Uyuni at around 7:30 PM.
Day 2: Daytime (Tomabe, Pulacayo & Minor Lagoons) + Night Stargazing Tour
The morning starts with a visit to the Pulacayo Mine, followed by the drive to Tomabe for lunch at the foothills of the volcano. In the afternoon, explore Laguna Celeste, Laguna Verde Pequeña, and the Tomabe Hot Springs. We return to Uyuni at approximately 6:00 PM.
At night, we set out on the Stargazing Tour, departing around 8:30 PM (the time may vary with the moonrise/set and is coordinated in advance to ensure optimal visibility). Enjoy a photo session under the stars and, depending on the season, the salt flat’s iconic mirror effect. The experience lasts about 3 hours and is designed specifically for photography.
Day 3: Private Salar Circuit & Exclusive Highlights
Departing from Hotel Kachi around 11:00 AM, we embark on a private tour of areas not covered on Day 1. We start at the Llama Museum and Colchani’s artisan market, then continue to the Ojos de Agua and the Salt Sculptures (home to the salt maze and pyramid; entry fee applies). If conditions allow, we head to Tunupa Volcano for sweeping panoramas. Weather and access permitting, we may include the Star Wars filming location and the Uruchipaya mummies.
