Itinerary
Day 1: Salar de Uyuni & Train Cemetery
The first day begins at 10:30 AM from Hotel Kachi. We cover the salar’s headline attractions: the Train Cemetery, the Colchani artisan market, the Dakar Monument, the Flag Plaza, and Hotel Playa Blanca. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch on the salt flats. In the afternoon—and depending on the season—we visit Incahuasi Island. We then dedicate time to a photo session on the salar and wrap up with a sunset toast. We return to Uyuni at approximately 7:30 PM.
Day 2: Pulacayo – Tomabe – Minor Lagoons
Departure: from Hotel Kachi at approximately 9:30–10:00 AM, following breakfast at the hotel. We begin at the historic Pulacayo Mine, an important industrial heritage site. We then drive 2–2.5 hours toward Tomabe, enjoying mountain vistas and vast plains en route. Upon arrival, we pause for lunch at the volcano’s foothills, an ideal moment to relax and take in the scenery. In the afternoon, we visit Laguna Celeste—renowned for its vibrant blue waters and resident flamingos—and Laguna Verde Pequeña, a beautiful mirror-like lagoon. We end the day at the Tomabe Hot Springs for a revitalizing bath in a natural setting. Finally, we return to Uyuni with optional photo stops; arrival is estimated around 6:00 PM, concluding a day filled with nature and memorable experiences.
