The Cultural Zone of Manu is one of the three designated areas of Manu National Park. This region spans high Andean mountains, cloud forests, and lowland jungle, and is home to small villages, settlers, and native communities engaged in agriculture and sustainable wood extraction. Controlled by the Ministry of Agriculture and SERNANP, this area offers visitors a unique chance to explore abundant wildlife in its natural habitat. The Manu cloud forest is one of the richest ecosystems on earth, harboring around 8,000 plant species, over 400 bird species, and at least 10 identified mammal species.
