Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Horseback adventure through Sacsayhuaman surroundings

Our guide will meet you at your hotel to give a briefing about the horseback riding tour. Then we will take a private transport to the ranch located near Villa San Blas on the outskirts of Cusco. Upon arrival at the ranch, you will meet the muleteer and the horses.

Before starting, our guide will give you instructions on how to handle your horse and properly use the safety gear, including western-style saddles and helmets. You’ll also see the first aid kit and learn basic safety measures for the ride.

We’ll begin our horseback journey by heading to Kusilluchayoc, then to the mystical Temple of the Moon and Zone X, stopping at each site where the guide will provide explanations. Finally, we will reach the fascinating “Devil’s Balcony,” where you can pass through a natural cave formed thousands of years ago that the Incas considered a sacred space.

After exploring these sites, we return to the ranch, say goodbye to our muleteer and horses, and take private transport back to your hotel in Cusco, ending an unforgettable day of adventure and cultural discovery.
